Grange Family Reunion
Plans are being made to have a Grange Family Reunion July 22-24 at the M lazy C Ranch in Lake George, CO. I have reserved three cabins that sleep up to 16 people. There are camp spaces with services for people who want to bring their own camper or motor home, but I have not yet reserved any of those spaces. If you might be interested in bringing your own camper the cost is $25.00 per night. To stay in one of the cabins I have reserved the cost will be $50.00 per person for two nights. I am still working on the plans for the weekend, but I do plan to set aside time for Grangers to share favorite Grange memories of activities, programs, or experiences and I would like to talk about "what you see the Grange doing now and in the future." Meals will be available to purchase at the Ranch and those details will come out as soon as I have a schedule put together. On Saturday night we will join in their Chuckwagon supper, hayride and show. The cost of this event is $21.95. Sunday morning they have a pancake breakfast and cowboy worship service which costs $5.00.
Two of the cabins have kitchens, so we could do our own breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
If you are interested in a camper space it would be helpful to know very soon - By January 31. You can make you own camper reservation by calling the ranch at 719-748-3398 or by letting me know and I will call and make the reservation.
Since I have reserved only three cabins that can accommodate 16 people if you're interested in staying in a cabin it will be on a first come first served basis and then if there are more we will have to see if the Ranch still has anything available. They do also have spaces for tents.
