Applications must be secured from the State Office. To request an application, either call 303-708-0606 or email cogrange@na800.net with your name, name of Grange member, Grange, and school attending.

 

There is no age requirement for applicants, but scholarships must be used at an accredited Colorado college or university or any Colorado State licensed vocational school. It is required that applicants be initiated or Associate Grange members with at least one year's membership, or children or grandchildren of such members. Supportive members are not eligible.

The Colorado State Grange Leadership/Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit, private organization created to receive, hold and distribute money and other property primarily for educational purposes. The Foundation enables Granges or Grangers who want to leave memorials or wish to donate large sums of money as tax incentives to help in scholarship/leadership roles.

 

If the deceased is a Grange members, the name will be recorded in the Grange Book of Memories. Donations from the Subordinate and Pomona Granges, as well as individuals, are required to support this program. Individuals making large donations may specify that interest income only be used for scholarships.

When sending money for the Memorial Fund, the donor should be sure to give the name of the deceased, and if a member, the name of the Grange, and the name of the Grange, and the name and address of the relative to whom the memorial card should be sent.
